My stay at the hotel was quite mixed. The rooms were on the smaller side and a bit nosy due to its proximity to the front door, but they did have all the essentials needed. The service, especially from the gentleman at the bar/desk, was exceptional and super helpful. The location was ideal, just a short walk to key historical sites and restaurants. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with some dishes below standard but others well-cooked. Overall, not perfect but a decent place to stay with value for money considerations.

Upon arriving at the hotel, I was delighted by the beautifully designed rooms, which were not only clean and well-fitted but also featured a breathtaking York Minster photographic scene on one wall. My stay at the hotel was wonderful! The rooms were superb, very central to York and its attractions, and surprisingly quiet despite being in the center of York. The service was exceptional, with the staff being very helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The location couldn't have been any better for me, just a short stroll to the train station and the town. The dining experience was really good, especially the breakfast served by the polite and friendly waitress. Overall, a great value for money!
